The trip from Lima takes about 5 hours by own car, 7 hours by bus and 12 hours by train.
If you travel by own car, this is the path that you need to follow:

Take the road “Carretera Central” towards Chosica, go through Matucana, San Mateo, Ticlio (15,900 ft. high - 4850 mts. high) and when you get La Oroya, take the detour to Huancayo. Continue to Jauja and take the road of the left bank of the Mantaro River. You will pass through the town of Conception and San Jerónimo then you going to find the signs of the entrance to the hotel. Take the detour and go for almost half a mile (1000 meters) and you going to find a red gate on the left side of the road, which is the entrance of the hotel.

We recommend a light meal before the trip because the change of altitude.
